From Wikipedia: Downtown is a term primarily used in North America to refer to a city’s core, usually in a geographical, commercial, and community sense. The view from the 86th floor observatory of the Empire State Building as one looks downtown. There are a few NYC landmarks in this picture, some more prominent than others.

Tip of the Spear

This shot is similar to my HDR image of the Empire State Building … but different. This is not an HDR, and it’s a different exposure (I promise). My Dad recommended I give this treatment a try, and I must say, I really do like it. Thanks, Dad!

I’m back from New York with lots of photos to go through. Here’s one I whipped up first thing this morning. I shot this HDR from the top of the Rockefeller Building. I’m still improving…I hope.
