Here’s a view of the city of Salzburg, Austria from the fortress Hohensalzburg over the river Salzach. It is one of the oldest castles in Europe!
My only regret for this shot is that I didn’t think to do an HDR. In reality it was the wrong time of day anyway, and I’m lucky this photo turned out as bearable as it did (I hope). Oh well…view it LARGE for the details!
Down on the open square below you can see a giant sized chess board (the pieces were about 3.5 feet tall) where people are enjoying a game.
